Primary and secondary research

For my documentary i had to do some research into horror movies to find out what it was that attracts and deters people for the genre of movie. I done this by asking around some fellow students at the college these simple questions.

And for secondary research i looked at reaction videos for horror movies like paranormal activity and the conjuring.







I used these videos because they give you an idea of how the movies are affecting people when watching them. This is good because you can then relate to how the people feel if this genre of movie doesn't affect you in the same way.
Another reason why i have used these is because when watching a horror movie you can only tell how you react to the movie whereas with this you can see all the different reactions people have to the genre.The usual reactions are crying, fear, laughter and shock.

Also there are news and magazine articles that tell you about the movies and reactions such as the one i have below.
