UNILEVER RESEARCH

Unilever is a British-Dutch multinational consumer goods company co-headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands and London. The companies products include food, beverages, cleaning agents and personal care products. It's the worlds third-largest consumer goods company measured by 2012 revenue.
Unilever owns over 400 different brands across the world, but has focused on 14 main brands with sales over 1 billion euros. The brands are Axe/Lynx, Dove, Omo, Becel/Flora, Heartbrand ice creams, Hellman's, Knorr, Lipton, Lux, Magnum, Rama, Rexona (aka Sure/Degree/Rexena/Shield), Sunsilk and Surf.
Unilever was founded in 1930 by the merger of the Dutch margarine producer Margarine Unie and the British soapmaker Level Brothers. During the second half of the 20th century the company increasingly diversified itself from being a maker of products made of oils and fats, and expanded its operations worldwide.
